     3. Helps us see
     4. Shows the difference
  2. Doing God’s Word
     1. More necessary, but not the only thing
     2. Brings TRUTH
     3. Helps us become who we need to be
     4. Makes the change
• Real Religion
  1. The connection between religion and the things we say
     1. If we say we have a righteous religion, but our mouths are constantly spewing forth lies, we have no religion.
     2. If we deceive our hearts into thinking we are saved when we’re really not, we have no religion.
  2. The connection between religion and the things we do
     1. Speaking up and taking care of those who are marginalized
        1. Explain orphans in 1^st century
        2. Explain widows in 1^st century
     2. Remaining pure from the corruption of the world’s view of life
        1. Look at what the world values
        2. We do not value these things
        3. We value God and His Word

CONSIDER THE RESULTS OF YOUR WAY OF LIFE AND MAKE SURE THEY LINE UP WITH THE WORD
